Chief Kerr Putney said while the videos show no “absolute, definitive visual evidence" that the 43-year-old black man had a gun in his hand, other evidence from the scene does prove it....But police can be heard repeatedly shouting “Drop the gun!”

I hope that they have more evidence than just folks shouting "drop the gun". It appears as if they already knew he possessed a gun. Once one cop says "drop the gun" they all will; I think its human nature.

And the cop's statements? Not reliable. Given that they are the target of an investigation.

Self defense is a defense. It does not preclude arrest and being tried.

Anyone can yell "drop the gun" at an unarmed guy and proceed to shoot the guy.

People want to believe a cop but when someone is killed their statements must be held to the same level of reliability as you or me in the same situation...not reliable at all.
