medieval barbarism is alive and well in this country

In medieval times, the king's men were explicitly declared to be more precious than everyone else. In the contemporary U.S., the scum-sucking liars who make up the ruling class claim that they see us as all equal, but the punishments for assaulting and killing the king's men are much more severe than the punishments for assaulting and killing mere worthless peons.

In many states, you're not even eligible for the death penalty if you only kill one peon, but if you allegedly kill one of the king's men, the persecutor will fight tooth-and-nail to get the state to murder you. The king's men assault and kill dogs all the time, but if a peon assaults or kills one of the king's men's dogs, he faces decades in a cage.

This country is actually worse, in that in medieval kingdoms, at least the ruling class openly admitted that it valued its men more than peons. This pisses me off so much that I think I'll piss on an imperial flag on this imperial holiday.
