The politicians certainly seem to think so, with the killing of a cop being treated as a much greater evil than the killing of a non-cop by the [in]justice system. The presstitutes of the mainstream media certainly seem to think so, since they shriek with rage whenever one or a few cops are killed, and usually completely ignore incidents wherein peaceful people are murdered in cold blood by cops.
