Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel has wasted no time showing how he feels about gun rights, joining a brief in support of an NRA challenge of a California law. In his first week on the job, Schimel on Thursday announced he has joined more than two dozen other state attorneys general in signing onto a brief asking the U.S. Supreme Court to decide the constitutionality of a San Francisco ordinance requiring handguns be kept in locked containers or disabled when not in use or being carried.
